DV SSL is available to individuals, companies and organizations. Verification and validation is carried out electronically via e-mail or by verifying the rights to the domain by placing the “html” file on the server, which content is sent by Certum or by creating a TXT record, in the DNS zone of the domain for which SSL certificate will be generated, which content also will be sent by Certum. The whole process takes place very quickly – within a several minutes. After correct verification, the ssl certificate is sent to the e-mail address.

SSL Certificate with Organization/Business Validation is a solution addressed to companies and organizations. Verification and validation is multi-stage. First step is to confirm rights to domain for which ssl certificate will be generated. This can be done in one of three ways – by confirming the verification link which will be sent via e-mail, by placing the “html” file on the server or by creating a TXT record, in the DNS domain zone, for which SSL certificate will be generated. In addition, due to the need to verify identity should be sent the identity document of the person applying for the SSL certificate, employment certificate or authorization granted to the applicant – only if the person is not the domain owner and paid domain account or domain owner’s statement about the applicant’s exclusive right to use the domain name – if the domain is not registered in the WHOIS database or the information in the database indicates that the applicant is not the owner of the domain Additionally, a phone verification (up to 48 hours) can be made to the company number in the public CEIDG, KRS, GUS, DUNS, etc.
